Lime Technologies came into its Q3 2026 report with the stock at SEK267 and a strong three month run of about 28%, so expectations were already heated. The headline print was clean for a software player. Revenue reached SEK194.3m and basic earnings per share landed at 2.14 SEK. Traders keyed in on margin quality, not just the top line. The adjusted EBITA margin of 26.3% became the emotional anchor for the day, and the one day move now reflects a tug of war between enthusiasm for that profitability and questions about how sustainable that spread is as growth spending continues.
Love the 26.3% adjusted EBITA margin at Lime Technologies but concerned about how long that profitability can hold while spending on growth stays elevated? Compare this setup with our screener of list of solid balance sheet and fundamentals stocks (202 results)
Ask Charlie what Lime said about turning AI into real revenue.
Optimists argue that Lime Technologies can lean on a richer software mix and AI tools to make earnings more predictable and profitable over time.
"Growing demand for subscription based CRM tools and Lime's focus on recurring software revenue, already 68% of total revenue and moving toward a 70% target, can support more predictable revenue and earnings."
Q3 shows that storyline moving forward, but not yet transformed. ARR grew 11%, in line with reported revenue, and the adjusted EBITA margin reached 26.3%, above the 25.5% LTM level. Management also highlighted AI features already generating income, particularly in Lime Connect, with early Agentic AI demand pointing to future proof points still ahead.
On the risk side, the concern is that cost inflation and a softer services backdrop will blunt the benefits of software and AI progress at Lime Technologies.
"Higher personnel and operating expenses, which rose 7% and 11% respectively in the quarter and are linked to international expansion, cloud, hosting and product related costs, may outpace revenue growth if new markets such as the Netherlands and Denmark do not improve."
This quarter, revenue and ARR each rose 11%, while personnel costs increased about 8% and other operating expenses 6%. That gap supported the 26.3% adjusted EBITA margin and 17% adjusted EBITA growth. Expert Services is framed as a "profitable enabler", and Sweden’s 7% growth alongside 20% in the rest of Europe suggests international spending is, for now, carrying its own weight.
