According to data released by the National Energy Administration today, the electricity consumption of the entire society totaled 8073.4 billion kilowatt-hours from January to September of this year, an increase of 3.9% over the previous year. Among them, the high-tech and equipment manufacturing industry consumed 961.9 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity, an increase of 8.7% over the previous year. Electricity consumption in the charging and switching service industry and Internet data services also maintained relatively rapid growth, reaching 55.4% and 41.6% respectively.
