+40.94% in a single day, 7.53% in a single day: voting with capital, the first profit sample of an AI skit was detonated

The Zhitong Finance App learned that at the close of trading on October 21, the exchange bar (01753) was fixed at HK$1.05, up 40.94% in a single day, hitting an intraday high of HK$1.13, with a turnover of nearly HK$79 million. As a comparison, the Hang Seng Index fell 0.90%, and the A-share skit/interactive game sector rose 1.28%.

Since HK$0.137 on August 21, the company has increased nearly 9 times in two months; on October 14, it rose 37.5% in a single day due to the “AI Short Drama Profit for 3 Consecuous Months” announcement. After just five trading days, the market is no longer “watching”, but is repricing.

The undertone of this round of the market is not the aftermath of conceptual hype, but the commercial sample has finally grown profits, and the undertone is long in the three recent announcements.

According to the August mid-term report, the half-year revenue of the Duiba AI skit was launched, accounting for 51.2% of the group's total revenue; in September, the controlling shareholder transferred 11.21% of the total share capital to the employee reward platform free of charge, and the Hong Kong stock founder donated a large percentage of the shares to AI business talents. The signal is very straightforward — the company is betting on the AI-Native content platform for the future.

The third announcement on October 14 tore the cover apart: 6.8 billion in July, 12.6 billion in August, and 26.4 billion in September. There were 45.8 billion new broadcasts in the third quarter, more than 9 times the 5 billion hits in the first half of the year. The highest sales rate of over 100 million hits was 5.7%, while the industry average was only 0.47%. What's even more fatal is “recording net profit for three months in a row” — the AI skit went from “being able to shoot” to “being able to make money,” and Dueba wrote the story into the profit table earlier than many of its A-share peers.

Today's headlines use information streaming, Douyin uses short videos and live broadcasts, and Hongguo uses free skits, all essentially the same algorithm — turning attention into ad inventory. Hongguo reached 200 million in September, and the duration of a single day was 166 minutes. WeChat's “Green Bubble” came to an end in person. The skit was no longer a scrap of content ecology, but a platform-level circuit for big manufacturers.

What is really scarce in the industry is no longer a “tool that can make a film”, but a systematic ability to “understand topic selection, distribution, and recycling.”

Redeem just happens to be the kind of company that combines advertising operation genes, AI workflows, self-developed agent matrices, and closed loop streaming: about 80% of the production process is generated by the workflow, and each person produces 3 70-minute long dramas per month. The screenwriter agent increases human efficiency several times. The hit model is not a collision; it is a result of production, distribution, feedback, and optimization.

The production capacity side is also being rewritten: about 80% of the production process is connected to the AI workflow. One producer can stably produce 3 long dramas of about 70 minutes each month, and self-developed AI agents for screenwriting have increased screenwriting efficiency by about 5 times. This means that production is no longer growing linearly with the headcount — a prerequisite for daring to bet 11.21% of its shares on talent.

Therefore, the sharp rise on October 21 was a combination of three forces:

First, Hongguo, WeChat, and Kuaishou have raised the ceiling of the AI skit industry, and capital is looking for AI applications that “have revenue, scale, and signs of profit” after AI hardware declined;

Second, the “concept stock” was washed into a “performance stock” through the three-stage implementation of Daiba's own, from revenue verification, equity addition to profit verification;

Third, the valuation anchor is misplaced — as of October 14, the market value was about HK$710 million. Based on the annual revenue of 2026 of 1.2 billion yuan and the current market value of about HK$1.1 billion, static PS is still far lower than that of ChineseOnline, Reading, Palm Reading, and Mango Supermedia, while the net assets per share were about 1.09 yuan, and the stock price hovered around net assets for a while.

The market used “loss SaaS” to price it, but now it is starting to use an “AI content platform” to recalculate: if the revenue in the second half of the year is not less than 800 million yuan, the annual break-even or profit, and the 2027 audit standard net interest rate is 6% to 8%, then the current price does not correspond to a conceptual premium, but an inflection point discount.

But beyond impact, you need to be calm. The three-month profit is a preliminary assessment of management accounts, not a post-audit report; the short drama industry's investment costs, platform split rules, and sales cycle will all be eaten back; overseas theaters, the WeChat Green Bubble, and the App Short Drama League are all still “running through the edge” rather than “stabilizing cash flow.”

The real test question for Daeba is not that the number of broadcasts exceeds 30 billion in a certain month; rather, when Hongguo, Tencent, and Byte all use AI skits as the main battleground, whether it can rely on full-link efficiency to keep the “0.47% hit rate in the industry” above 4% to 5%.

The tide has already risen. HK$1.05 on October 21 is not the end point, nor is it a safety pad; it is a deposit paid by the market for “the first full-link platform in an AI skit to show evidence of continuous profit.” Whether the stock price will continue to be short in the future depends on whether production capacity can reach 1,000 units per month in the fourth quarter, whether the cost of a single unit can be reduced to less than 10,000 yuan, and whether the green bubble and overseas can change from “significant growth” to “profit contribution.”

From concept to cash, the redemption bar has already crossed the hardest bridge; but from cash to compound interest, it's only just getting started.
