The Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a blue typhoon warning at 6:00 on October 22: The center of Typhoon No. 30 “Rose” of this year was at 5 o'clock this morning on the ocean surface about 750 kilometers southeast of Taipei City, Taiwan Province. It is 20.1 degrees north latitude and 126.5 degrees east longitude. The maximum wind force near the center is level 16. The lowest air pressure at the center is 930 hundred Pa, a 7-stage wind circle radius of 350-500 kilometers, and the radius of the Class 12 wind circle is 80-90 km. It is expected that the “rose” will move northwest at a speed of 15-20 kilometers per hour, gradually approaching the northeastern coast of Taiwan. The intensity will continue to decrease. It will move northerly after entering the southern waters of the East China Sea on the night of the 23rd, move northeast off the eastern coast of Zhejiang on the night of the 24th, and trend towards the southwestern coast of Japan, then degenerate into a temperate cyclone; it is not ruled out that it will pass along the northeastern coast of Taiwan.
