The Zhitong Finance App learned that on October 22, the National Energy Administration released the national electric vehicle charging facility data for September 2026. According to data from the National Charging Facility Monitoring Service Platform, by the end of September 2026, the total number of electric vehicle charging infrastructures (guns) in China reached 24.777 million, an increase of 37.2% over the previous year. Among them, there were 5.207 million public charging facilities (guns), up 16.3% year on year. The total rated power reached 266 million kilowatts, and the average power of a single gun was about 5110 kilowatts; private charging facilities (guns) were 19.57 million, an increase of 44.0% year on year, and the reported installed capacity of private charging facilities reached 167 million kilovolts.
