Egyptian President Sisi said on the 21st that Egypt's proposal to provide military support to Saudi Arabia was to “defend Saudi territory, but this does not include launching an attack on Yemen.” Speaking at the “2026 Egypt Forum” event on the same day, Sisi said, “We are talking about defending the kingdom's land and borders. We want to help restore stability to countries that have lost stability. Any further turmoil in any other country would make the situation unbearable.”
