Reuters and several other media quoted Britain's “Financial Times” report on October 22 as saying that NATO will allow Ukraine to purchase arms, ammunition, and military equipment through its centralized procurement agency. This move is expected to enable Ukraine to obtain defense materials faster and cheaper. “This provides a more systematic framework for Ukraine to take full advantage of the extensive resources we provide, including procurement expertise, support services, and access to a mature industrial base,” said Jacqueline Bolsbom, Director of Operational Support at the NATO Support and Procurement Service in an interview with the Financial Times. As of press time, we have yet to see the Ukrainian side respond to this statement.
