COVINGTON, La. (AP) — COVINGTON, La. (AP) — Pool Corp. (POOL) on Thursday reported third-quarter profit of $123 million.

On a per-share basis, the Covington, Louisiana-based company said it had profit of $3.40.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $3.36 per share.

The distributor of supplies for swimming pools posted revenue of $1.5 billion in the period, which also topped Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.47 billion.

Pool Corp. expects full-year earnings in the range of $10.87 to $11.17 per share.
