Iran's Army Ground Force Commander Ali Jahanshahi said on Friday that the country is still in a “wartime state” and the forces must maintain full combat readiness. While inspecting the Army's 258th Mobile Assault Brigade, Jahanshahi said, “Under wartime conditions, any negligence or laid-back will pay a heavy price.” He called on all branches to insist on continuous training, accurately assess combat capability, cooperate well, and promptly discover shortcomings and rectify them. Jahanshahi also mentioned that Iran is facing both military and psychological threats at the same time, requiring the military to maintain rapid response capabilities.
