Today, the first steel girder reinforced prestressed concrete continuous beam on a domestic highway, the main bridge of the Jingyuan Dongwan Yellow River Special Bridge on the G341 Lubai Highway, was successfully completed. The bridge filled the gaps in the application of steel girder reinforcement systems for large span highway bridges in China, and explored a new technical path for bridge construction in the Yellow River Basin and areas with high seismic intensity.
