CLS Holdings to Exit UK REIT Status Amid Share Ownership Changes

04:41 AM EDT, 10/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- CLS Holdings (CLI.L) will exit the UK real estate investment trust regime at the end of 2026 following changes in its share ownership structure that do no comply with the country's REIT rules. To remain a REIT in the UK, a company must meet specific legislative conditions and, in particular, must not be a close company, the London-listed property investment company said Monday. The company clarified that the change, which is only for tax status, will not affect its property management and investment strategy.
