Ferguson Enterprises Inc. (FERG), with a market capitalization of approximately $44.4 billion, is North America’s largest value-added distributor of water and air solutions. The company, headquartered in Newport News, Virginia, supplies plumbing, HVAC, appliances, lighting, and water infrastructure products to residential and non-residential construction professionals across North America.

FERG is scheduled to release its Q3 results on Monday, November 9, 2026, before the market opens. Analysts forecast diluted EPS of $3.28, representing a 15.5% increase from $2.84 reported in the same quarter last year. The company has beaten Wall Street’s EPS estimates in each of the past two quarters.

For fiscal 2026, analysts project EPS of $11.42, up 7.9% from $10.58 in fiscal 2025. Earnings growth is expected to continue into fiscal 2027, with EPS forecast to rise another 11.4% year over year to $12.72.

FERG shares have fallen 7.9% over the past 52 weeks, underperforming both the S&P 500 Index ($SPX), which advanced 13%, and the State Street Industrial Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLI), which gained 7.8% over the same period.

Ferguson shares have underperformed the broader market over the past year amid weakness in residential end markets, which account for approximately half of its revenue. In its August 10, 2026, Q2 report, the company cited weak new construction activity and subdued repair, maintenance, and improvement demand.

On the bright side, Ferguson announced a partnership with UDig on Sept. 22 to improve operational efficiency through Sales Cockpit, a digital platform that integrates sales systems into a single interface. By enabling associates to process searches, quotes, and orders more quickly, the platform could streamline counter operations, enhance customer service, and strengthen contractor relationships. Following the announcement, FERG shares rose 2.3% that day.

Analyst sentiment toward FERG remains cautiously positive, with the stock carrying a consensus “Moderate Buy” rating. Of the 24 analysts covering the stock, 14 recommend a “Strong Buy,” one recommends a “Moderate Buy,” and the remaining nine assign a “Hold” rating. The average analyst price target of $285.35 suggests potential upside of 24.3% from the current share price
