Banco Santander's Nine-month Attributable Profit, Total Income Rise

02:43 AM EDT, 10/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Banco Santander (SAN.MC) logged 12.41 billion euros in profit attributable to the parent for the first nine months of 2026, compared with 10.34 billion euros a year ago. EPS moved to 0.82 euro from 0.66 euro year over year, a Wednesday filing showed. For the nine months ended Sept. 30, total income was 46.71 billion euros versus 43.25 billion euros previously, the Spanish bank added. Meanwhile, the board approved an interim dividend of 0.127 euro per share, payable on Nov. 2, 2026. The planned payout is 10% higher than its 2025 equivalent. Looking ahead to full-year 2026, the company affirmed its targets, including a mid-single-digit revenue growth and profit above the 14.1 billion euros reported in 2025.
