Vaisala Concludes Up to $130 Million Purchase of US-based Atmo

04:49 AM EDT, 10/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Vaisala (VAIAS.HE) completed the planned acquisition of Atmo, an artificial intelligence-powered meteorology and weather forecasting company based in the US. Under the cash-and-stock deal, the Finnish measurement technology company paid a fixed purchase price of $70 million and will also pay an additional up to $60 million in cash earnouts based on Atmo's business performance and retention of key employees through 2028, according to a Thursday release.
