BEIJING (AP) — BEIJING (AP) — TAL Education Group (TAL) on Thursday reported a loss of $47.4 million in its fiscal second quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Beijing-based company said it had a loss of 9 cents. Losses, adjusted for stock option expense, came to 6 cents per share.

The education services provider posted revenue of $994.6 million in the period.
