MasTec: Q3 Earnings Snapshot

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) — CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) — MasTec Inc. (MTZ) on Thursday reported third-quarter net income of $150.6 million.

The Coral Gables, Florida-based company said it had profit of $1.89 per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $2.96 per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $2.94 per share.

The utility contractor posted revenue of $5.15 billion in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $4.94 billion.

MasTec expects full-year earnings in the range of $8.92 to $9.30 per share, with revenue expected to be $18.3 billion.
