Zhitong Finance App News, Weilizhibo-B (09887) announced that the company's self-developed anti-blood dendritic cell antigen 2 (BDCA2) and transmembrane activator and calciclophilin ligand interacting molecule (TACI), part B (LBL-047—CN001) of a novel bispecific fusion protein LBL-047 (known as DNTH212 outside of Greater China) has successfully completed the administration of the first case of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). This is the first time LBL-047 has entered the population of patients with autoimmune diseases. The molecule acts simultaneously on two clinically proven pathogenesis pathways, innate immunity and adaptive immunity, and the LBL-047 has a complementary and differentiated dual-target design, which has been directly verified in patients for the first time.

The main purpose of the LBL-047—CN001 study B was to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) characteristics and initial clinical efficacy of LBL-047 in SLE patients. Professor Ye Shuang and Professor Chen Sheng of Yan Chai Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine were the main researchers. Part A of the study is being carried out at the Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center, with Professor Meng Xianmin as the main researcher. The cumulative safety and pharmacokinetic data for healthy people in this section supports the progress of the study to SLE patients according to the protocol design.
