The Zhitong Finance App learned that food stocks were higher across the board. As of press release, Unification Enterprise China (00220) rose 5.02% to HK$7.85; Master Kong Holdings (00322) rose 4.90% to HK$12.63; China Wangwang (00151) rose 4.04% to HK$2.835; and Vitasoy International (00345) rose 1.56% to HK$6.19.

According to the news, since September, leading companies such as Yasui, Sanquan, and Haixin have announced price increases to dealer channels, all due to rising raw material costs. In addition, brands such as Genki Forest, Wahaha, and China Resources Drinks have all adjusted dealer prices, and Heineken has also initiated price adjustments in many places. Experts said that the continued rise in raw material costs is a common driver of this round of price increases.

Open Source Securities pointed out that the sector's chip structure is showing an improving trend. Along with long-term adjustments, the pressure on institutional holdings and floating capital has been released. Most leading PE companies are historically low, and market expectations have been lowered. Taken together, the combination of undervaluation, low expectations, and low congestion forms the objective basis for the left-hand side layout of the sector. Analysts said that the core support for the recent bucking trend in the food and beverage sector comes from a “rebalance” in terms of capital.
