On October 31, the Westlake World Model Research Center was established at the Yungu Campus of Westlake University. This is a university-level interdisciplinary research platform set up by Westlake University for the field of physical intelligence. The center is headed by Yu Kaicheng, doctoral supervisor and assistant professor at the School of Engineering at Westlake University, co-founder and chief scientist of the artificial intelligence company KMind. Jin Yaochu, chair professor of artificial intelligence at Westlake University and head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence, is the chief scientist, and several PIs have shared research tasks in various fields.
