The Zhitong Finance App learned that GE Healthcare (GEHC.US) announced Allia Celeo — a ceiling-mounted medical imaging system for heart and other minimally invasive interventional procedures at the Transcatheter Cardiovascular Treatment Conference (TCT 2026) held in San Diego on Sunday. The system combines artificial intelligence-assisted imaging, automatic device positioning, and remote monitoring technology to help clinicians perform interventional procedures involving blood vessels, heart, and other organs. For investors, the announcement expands GE Healthcare's portfolio of interventional imaging equipment — at a time when hospitals are seeking to improve surgical efficiency and control operating costs.

Allia Celeo is equipped with a large C-arm — an X-ray imaging device that rotates around the patient and collects images from different angles. The ceiling-mounted design frees up extra space for healthcare workers and equipment, and automatic positioning is meant to reduce interruptions during surgery.

AI software automatically adjusts imaging parameters to balance image quality with radiation dose. The device's digital twin (digital twin) preview function allows clinicians to preview before adjusting the rack position.

The system is compatible with GE Medical's software for coronary stent visualization, heart valve surgery guidance, and tumor treatment assistance, and works with OnWatch Predict — the latter uses remote monitoring and predictive analysis to identify potential problems before equipment failure occurs.

Allia Celeo is another addition to the floor-standing Allia Moveo released in 2025, which went on commercial sale earlier this year.
