According to the Zhitong Finance App, Heng Tai (00197) announced the results for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2026. The total revenue from continuing operations was about HK$255.5 million, a year-on-year decrease of about 40.1%; net loss of about HK$232 million, up 13.3% year on year; basic loss per share was HK$116.09.

According to the announcement, the decline in revenue was mainly due to weak sales in the FMCG trade business due to weak consumption and fierce market competition, but was partially offset by contributions from new travel-related businesses. The increase in net loss was mainly due to the combined impact of various projects, including a decrease of approximately 40.1% in revenue, a decrease of approximately HK$8.3 million in other income and revenue, an increase of approximately HK$70 million in net impairment losses on financial assets and an increase of approximately HK$18.8 million in inventory impairment losses, which were partially offset by a decrease of approximately HK$1.7 million in fair value changes due to biotransformation, a decrease of about 35.8% in sales and distribution expenses, a decrease of about 23.6% in administrative expenses, and a decrease of approximately HK$79.5 million in net impairment losses on non-financial assets. The Group also obtained a net loss of approximately HK$22.6 million from its discontinued business (i.e. Hong Kong stock trading business), which mainly included impairment losses of HK$13.8 million confirmed on loans receivable and approximately HK$8 million in tax expenses.

Furthermore, the company has applied to the Stock Exchange to resume trading of the Company's shares on the Stock Exchange starting at 9:00 a.m. on November 3, 2026.
