Goldman Sachs previously predicted that the company's sales, restaurant profit and operating profit would increase by 9.3%, 9.2%, and 10.4%, respectively, during the period, and 3.4%, 3.3%, and 4.5%, respectively, based on fixed exchange rates. The bank expects that KFC and Pizza Hut's same-store sales in the third quarter will both increase by 1% compared to the second quarter, equivalent to 89% and 86% of pre-pandemic levels, respectively. The net number of stores opened in the third quarter is expected to reach 470, bringing the total number of stores to 19,767.
