The phase 1b study will evaluate the drug's efficacy and safety in 150 participants, with CAM2056 randomized in doses of 10 milligrams, 20 mg, or placebo, given every four weeks after an initiation period, according to a Tuesday release. The trial's primary objective is to show that the 20-mg dose is superior to placebo in reducing body weight after 36 weeks of treatment. The biopharmaceutical company said results are expected in the first half of 2028.
