Arista Networks (ANET) is gearing up to report its third-quarter fiscal 2026 results on Tuesday, Nov. 3, after the market closes, putting the AI networking giant in the spotlight as investors await further evidence of sustained demand for high-speed data center infrastructure. With hyperscalers ramping up investments in artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud computing, Arista’s networking solutions are becoming increasingly critical to supporting the growing computing demands of next-generation AI workloads.

Meanwhile, Wall Street expects Arista to deliver another strong quarter, with consensus estimates calling for earnings of $0.99 per share, on revenue of approximately $3.3 billion, representing growth of 44.4%. Arista’s ability to sustain its impressive growth trajectory while navigating component availability and rising competition will be crucial in determining the stock’s next move.

About Arista Networks Stock

Arista Networks is a leading cloud networking company that develops high-performance networking solutions for large data centers, AI infrastructure, campus environments, and cloud computing networks. Headquartered in Santa Clara, California, the company provides Ethernet switches, routers, networking software, and cloud-based network management solutions powered by its Extensible Operating System (EOS) and CloudVision platforms. Its growing presence in high-speed Ethernet networking positions it to benefit from rising demand for AI-driven computing and cloud connectivity. Arista Networks currently boasts a market cap of around $207 billion.

Arista's stock has delivered a mixed performance in 2026, with its year-to-date (YTD) gains significantly outpacing its returns over the past year. The stock has climbed 28% year-to-date (YTD), reflecting investor optimism surrounding the company’s exposure to AI infrastructure, high-speed Ethernet networking, and growing data center investments. However, its gains over the past 52 weeks have been relatively modest at around 7%, suggesting that recent advances have been partly offset by periods of volatility and profit-taking.

ANET stock’s recent performance has also been choppy, with a 10% decline over the past five trading sessions. Moreover, the stock plunged on Oct. 30 by 8.3% to $168.86, amid a broader selloff in technology and AI-related stocks. The decline was largely driven by renewed concerns about the enormous capital expenditures required to build AI infrastructure and whether those investments would generate sufficient returns. ANET stock declined 2.8% in the last session, reflecting investors’ cautiousness ahead of the earnings release.

Arista stock is currently trading at 48.67 times forward earnings, which is a premium to industry peers.
