Higher costs affect T7 Global earnings

PETALING JAYA: T7 Global Bhd’s net profit tumbled 20% year-on-year (y-o-y) in the second quarter ended June 30, 2025 (2Q25), dragged down by higher operating expenses and finance costs.

The energy solutions provider said 2Q25 net profit fell to RM8.5mil, even as revenue rose by 15.5% y-o-y to RM173.26mil.

The lower profitability brought earnings per share down to 0.96 sen.

No dividend was declared for the second quarter.

Cumulatively, for the first half of financial year 2025 (1H25), T7 Global saw a modest 2% y-o-y hike in net profit to RM15.55mil.

This was despite revenue for the six-month period increasing by 10.5% to RM312.14mil.

Segment-wise, the energy division registered a 31.11% increase in revenue to RM233.49mil.
