T7 Global’s Nik Norzrul Thani lifts stake to 22.66%

KUALA LUMPUR: T7 Global Bhd acting executive chairman Tan Sri Datuk Seri Dr Nik Norzrul Thani N Hassan Thani has acquired 52.21 million shares, or a 5.78% stake, through Abyssina Resources (M) Sdn Bhd.

This raises his total interest in the company to 205.59 million shares, representing 22.66% of T7 Global.

According to the company’s filing with Bursa Malaysia, Abyssina Resources acquired 818,000 shares on Sept 29, 24.9 million shares on Sept 30 and a further 26.49 million shares on Oct 1.

These transactions raised Nik Norzrul Thani’s indirect interest in T7 Global to 204.59 million shares or 22.66%. His direct interest remains at one million shares, or 0.11%, bringing his total shareholding to 205.59 million shares, or 22.66%.

T7 Global closed down 0.5 sen, or 1.96% at 25 sen with 1.43 million shares traded.
