The “Xuelong” polar research icebreaker, which carried out China's 42nd Antarctic expedition mission, successfully arrived at the Qinling Station area on the 29th Beijing time and carried out unloading operations. Wei Fuhai, leader of China's 42nd Antarctic Expedition Team, explained that the total weight of the materials unloaded this time was about 1,400 tons, including logistics support materials, engineering materials, scientific research materials, and oil at the Qinling Station. The supplies will be unloaded to the station via barges. This unloading is expected to last about 5 days, and some materials and garbage will also be shipped back to the country depending on the operating conditions. The on-site engineering work is carried out simultaneously with the unloading operation.
