Questerre Energy Completes Takeover of Red Leaf Resources

03:49 AM EST, 12/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Questerre Energy (QEC.OL) completed the acquisition of Red Leaf Resources, increasing its shareholding in the US-based technology company to over 90%. The energy technology company acquired over 50% of Red Leaf Resources' common share capital from selling shareholders in exchange for 17.3 million Questerre shares, according to a Tuesday release. Following the exercise of "drag along" provisions, Questerre expects to issue up to a further 3.1 million shares, or equivalent consideration, to acquire the remaining interest. Separately, Red Leaf's preferred shareholders agreed to sell their preferred shares at face value plus accrued dividends. Questerre will pay $1.6 million to acquire the preferred shares.
