The US Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service announced the recall of more than 2,800 pounds of Forward Farms grass-fed raw ground beef sold to six states. No evidence has been found to be contaminated with Escherichia coli. Earlier, MountainWest Food Group in Idaho discovered that its products contained Escherichia coli during safety tests.
