Ukraine's Ministry of Defense said on Thursday that it has deployed two new “Patriot” air defense systems, which are part of Germany's previously announced military aid supplies. The Ministry of Defense said in a post on the Telegram platform: “Two additional 'Patriots' air defense systems have been deployed to protect Ukrainian cities and critical infrastructure.” Germany said in August last year that after reaching an agreement with the US, it would deliver two “Patriot” systems to Ukraine. Under the agreement, Germany will receive the latest version of the same system as a matter of priority in return.
