Previously, these companies once faced tariffs of up to 92%. After the adjustments, Garofalo's proposed tariff was reduced to 13.89%, La Molisana was reduced to 2.26%, and the remaining 11 companies were unified to 9.09%. The US Department of Commerce is expected to announce the final ruling on March 12, and will continue to solicit comments until then. The reduction in pasta tariffs comes at a time when the US side announced that it will postpone the imposition of additional tariffs on some imported furniture.
