On January 3, under the full maintenance of the sea cruisers and tugboats of the Nantong Maritime Administration, the “F450 FLNG”, a large-scale floating natural gas liquefaction unit built by an enterprise in Nantong, Jiangsu, successfully left the dock and docked safely at the outfitting terminal. FLNG technology is complex and has high added value. The installation is the first FLNG project in Indonesia and the ninth in the world. It marks a new high level of offshore equipment manufacturing capacity in Nantong, and also injects strong impetus into achieving a good start in the year of the “15th Five-Year Plan”.
