The Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission, in conjunction with the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economics and Credit and the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, issued a document on the 4th, proposing that efforts will be made to launch 10 national manufacturing pilot platforms in Beijing and support the construction of 50 Beijing pilot platforms by 2030. Among them, those that meet the conditions will enjoy “real money” policy support. Specifically, Beijing will lay out a pilot platform around the graded layout of the capital's modern industrial system. The first category is for building pilot platforms for industries such as artificial intelligence, medicine and health, green and low carbon, robotics and intelligent manufacturing, integrated circuits, etc., and subsidies will be provided according to 35% of the total project investment, up to a maximum of 100 million yuan; the other category is for building new pilot platforms for next-generation information technology, intelligent connected vehicles and other industries, which will be subsidized and supported according to 25% of the total project investment, up to a maximum of 50 million yuan. It is worth mentioning that the document clearly supports the pilot platform to implement independent legal reforms to better stimulate its initiative in the service market. According to the above classification, the investment subsidy ratio for newly built independent corporate pilot platforms was raised to 45% and 35%.
