According to the official WeChat account of the Beijing branch of the People's Bank of China, four projects were successfully implemented on the first day of implementation of the green foreign debt pilot policy. The Beijing Branch of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange issued the “Green Foreign Debt Pilot Business Guidelines” with the approval of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange to actively support non-financial enterprises under its jurisdiction to borrow foreign debt funds for green or low-carbon transformation projects. On the first day the pilot policy came into effect, the banks under its jurisdiction successfully applied for green foreign debt contracts for 4 enterprises. The total contract amount was over 60 million yuan. The funds involved will be invested in the photovoltaic industry, green intelligent transportation systems, and information technology construction.
