06:21 AM EST, 01/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Edenred's (EDEN.PA) revenue and earnings are expected to be impacted by recent regulatory changes in Italy and Brazil, AlphaValue/Baader Europe said as it slashed the company's price target and 2026-27 financial estimates. While acknowledging that legal specialists see a high probability of the regulatory decisions ultimately being reversed, analysts on Monday said there is no near-term visibility on the French digital services and payments company's joint appeals against the measures. As such, the price target was cut to 29.9 euros from 40.6 euros. The rating was reiterated at buy, with the research firm keeping a positive long-term view on the stock. "Our 2026 EBITDA forecast has been revised down by 10% compared to our last update, corresponding to a like-for-like yoy decline of 9.3%, which falls within the company's revised guidance range of an 8-12% setback," the research firm said. "For 2027, we apply an 8.8% EBITDA reduction, mainly due to the lower base effect. This implies yoy growth of 9.9%, consistent with the company's reiterated 8-12% growth guidance, and above our previous estimate of 8.4%."
