The Venezuelan government officially promulgated a decree on the 5th requiring police agencies at the national, state and municipal levels to immediately search and arrest all those involved in inciting or supporting US armed attacks throughout the country and hand them over to the judicial system for trial. The law also stipulates a number of emergency defense measures, such as implementing militarized management of public service infrastructure, the petroleum industry, and other basic industries in the country; strengthening land, sea, and air border patrols and security; and deploying “comprehensive defense headquarters” in cities and cities across the country. The decree states that in view of the armed attacks carried out by US military forces on Venezuelan territory and people, seriously infringing on Venezuela's territorial integrity, sovereignty, and independence, a state of national emergency was declared throughout the country. According to the decree, according to Article 51 of the UN Charter, Venezuela has an inherent right to defend itself against completely illegal and unjustified armed attacks, and will relentlessly exercise this right to repel US aggression against the country's territory and people.
