First Trust launches buffer ETF

First Trust has announced the launch of the First Trust Vest US Equity Max Buffer UCITS ETF - December (“MDEC”), on the London Stock Exchange and Deutsche Börse Xetra, offering investors the opportunity to participate in the growth potential of the S&P 500 Index, up to a predetermined upside cap, while seeking to provide the maximum available buffer against Index losses over an approximate period of one year.
