After the US arrested Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and threatened to take over Greenland, French President Emmanuel Macron accused Washington of violating international law and breaking the partnership. Macron told French ambassadors to foreign countries in Paris on Thursday that the US “has been a powerful country for a long time, but it is gradually breaking away from some of its allies and freeing itself from international rules.”
