Penumbra, ImmunityBio, Calix, Matson And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Thursday

U.S. stocks were higher, with the Dow Jones index gaining more than 300 points on Thursday.

Shares of Penumbra Inc (NYSE:PEN) rose sharply during Thursday's session after Boston Scientific agreed to acquire the company at $374 per share.

The transaction values Penumbra at $374 per share, representing a roughly $14.5 billion enterprise value. Penumbra shareholders may elect to receive cash or Boston Scientific stock, with proration resulting in approximately 73% cash and 27% equity consideration overall.

Penumbra also released stronger-than-expected preliminary fourth-quarter results.

Penumbra shares jumped 12.1% to $351.25 on Thursday.

• AXT, Inc. (NASDAQ:AXTI) shares jumped 16.8% to $25.82.
• Fluence Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ:FLNC) rose 13.5% to $25.72. Fluence Energy, announced it will supply its advanced Gridstack Pro™ energy storage solution for the Pioneer Clean Energy Center.
• ImmunityBio, Inc. (NASDAQ:IBRX) gained 12.4% to $3.3950. ImmunityBio reported fourth-quarter preliminary net product revenue of $38.3 million.
• Soho House & Co Inc (NYSE:SHCO) gained 12.4% to $8.88.
• LightPath Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:LPTH) rose 12.1% to $14.83.
• Calix Inc (NYSE:CALX) rose 11.4% to $61.26 after JP Morgan upgraded the stock from Neutral to Overweight and raised its price target from $75 to $90.
• MKS Inc (NASDAQ:MKSI) gained 10.4% to $210.04. Wells Fargo analyst Joseph Quatrochi maintained MKS with an Equal-Weight rating and raised the price target from $150 to $175.
• StubHub Holdings Inc (NYSE:STUB) rose 10.3% to $15.06.
• Entegris Inc (NASDAQ:ENTG) gained 10.2% to $114.70 after UBS upgraded the stock from Neutral to Buy and raised its price target from $90 to $145.
• Ocular Therapeutix Inc (NASDAQ:OCUL) gained 9.9% to $12.17 after reports suggested Sanofi is preparing a revised bid for the company.
• Matson Inc (NYSE:MATX) gained 9% to $143.84 following the company's announcement of preliminary fourth-quarter results and a positive outlook for 2026.
• Skywater Technology Inc (NASDAQ:SKYT) gained 8.6% to $33.07.
• KLA Corp (NASDAQ:KLAC) jumped 8.3% to $1,554.16 after RBC Capital initiated coverage on the stock with a Sector Perform rating and announced a $1550 price target. Wells Fargo analyst Joseph Quatrochi upgraded KLA from Equal-Weight to Overweight and raised the price target from $1250 to $1600.
• Applied Materials Inc (NASDAQ:AMAT) gained 7.7% to $325.12 after RBC Capital initiated coverage on the stock with an Outperform rating and a $385 price target.
